How We Used It and Our Thoughts:

We loved Car Service History and got a chance to review the physical DVD set from them The Gospels. It was great and that’s why I knew I wanted to participate in that too. Our family was given the opportunity to review part of the Driving History Adventures homeschool history curriculum.

We chose to do the Ancient History Adventures. This is an astonishing tour of how ancient civilization and Christianity play into history leading up to the birth of western civilization. Dave takes us on a journey to explore early Greece, Rome and Asia Minor. There are 12 chapters with videos, discussion questions, articles and additional readings, worksheets, and pictures of what is taught.

Ancient History Adventures episode series.

Each episode of these homeschooling videos is packed with a lot of information. With his infectious enthusiasm and humor, Dave’s charm is irresistible. These sections are also highly visually interesting and full of rich content. Each episode is family-friendly, fascinating, engaging, and interesting.

After each episode, we went to the study guide as a family to read and discuss together what we had learned over the weeks. Each chapter page includes videos and other stuff to dig even deeper into the lessons. Drive-through History Adventures inspired us to explore history as a family even further. This gave us a greater appreciation of the history behind ancient civilizations. It was an eye opener to say the least.

Here is Dave Stotts introducing his Car Service Historical Adventures …

I highly recommend Drive-in History Adventures! The homeschool Bible curriculum is great for families who want to teach their kids history from a Christian worldview. This series would be great for both homeschooled and non-homeschooled. This is great for small group work, homeschooling curriculum, church study, Family Home Evening Bible study, and Sunday School work.

So … Fasten your seatbelt and get ready because you will go on an exciting journey!
