Supernova is an open source UCI chess engine written in C. It works on Windows and Linux and requires a UCI compatible graphical user interface (Arena, Winboard, Shredder …) to function properly. v.2.2 Improved reduction of forward pruning and late movement. Added probcut, late move pruning, and IID. Evaluation tuning. Fixed the handling of the “go” command. Improved check extension. Hash table cutoff allowed on the PV node.
